Meet Gene!
Gene is an 8 week old male Domestic Short Hair kitten. He was born at the shelter, so we're hoping he can get into a real home very soon!
Gene's mother came to us pregnant, and shortly after gave birth to some of the cutest kittens you've ever. Gene was one of 7 babies, so he's used to having to share attention. He much prefers when he can be the star of the show, though, and will happily battle all of his siblings for your love! Their mother loves people, so these kittens learned from a young age to demand affection! Gene is super playful and is always happiest with a buddy to keep him entertained.
Since Gene was born at the shelter, he's used to being handled, and not much fazes this little guy. He's been around kids here and always does well with them, but he is still a kitten, so he's learning how not to scratch when playing. We haven't introduced Gene to any dogs yet, but he is young enough that he shouldn't have a problem adjusting.
