Meet Liberty! This sweet girl is a 4 year old spayed Red Heeler mix. Remi is pretty timid right now from suddenly finding herself at the shelter, but she's waiting to find the right family to open up to. We're hoping that we can find her the forever home she deserves very soon!
Liberty has been feeling pretty overwhelmed from suddenly finding herself at the shelter. This environment is stressful for any animal, and Liberty just needs a little more time to feel comfortable. Already, she is starting to open up to us and prove that she's a very snuggly and loyal pup. With time she will blossom into the playful, loving sweet girl we know and love.
Liberty was surrendered to us alongside her sister Remi. Their owner could no longer care for them, and decided to bring the girls to us to find better homes. Liberty was around other dogs and kids and did great with them in her previous home. However, with her being so nervous here, we strongly recommend a meet and greet with any dogs or children prior to adoption. Please keep in mind, too, that as Liberty gets used to your family she will need supervised until she has fully adjusted to her new life. We do know, though, that Liberty is not good with cats. She will not be adopted out to any homes with felines.
