Calibur is a handsome 1 year old Pit Bull/Lab mix that is neutered, is seeking a forever home where he'll receive the love and care he deserves. He is a gentle soul that will shower you with affection.
Calibur came into the shelter as a stray, and our investigation revealed he originated from another shelter. Sadly, he was then eventually abandoned, leaving him without a loving home once again. Despite his rocky past, Calibur remains a hopeful and loving companion. Hes eager to put his trust in a new family and receive the love he deserves. Due to him being a stray and unfortunately not knowing much else of his past, here at the shelter he is very gentle, he loves to play and when he gets excited and starts getting the zoomies and he will run around the yard. He is a 1 year old and has that puppy-like energy and would still need guidance and structure. Calibur loves to learn and is very treat motivated. He knows basic commands like "sit". But if you have a treat he will be ready to learn anything! He is also very tidy and clean. Which means hes housebroken! He also does not chew up his items either! Keep in mind, this doesnt mean he wont have an accident at first when arriving at a new place. Give him patience and he will feel more comfortable being himself. He is already nuetered saving you not only money but also the hassle and the stress of accidental puppies. Our dedicated team has ensured Calibur is current on all his vaccinations, providing you an extra peace of mind.
Even though Calibur is the friendliest boy ever, we want to ensure Calibur is the absolute best fit for your family and we do not want to risk him to be returned to a shelter again and break his heart. With that being said we require a meet and greet with any pets and kids inside the home prior to adoption.
