Meet ZZ Top, the Sharp Dressed Man! (Get your Tush into the shelter!)
Right away when I saw this "Rough Boy" I instantly thought of the band ZZ Top with their long white beards. So everyone welcome ZZ Top or ZZ for short!
ZZ is a 1 year old male Great Pyrenees/ Old English Sheepdog mix who is extremely shy at first but once he feels comfortable he is guaranteed to bring the house down with his charming personality with or without cheap sunglasses! ZZ's rugged good looks and majestic coat makes him the coolest cat....err, DOG in town! He not only bring Guitar Riffs and Goof Times but he is just a Gental Giant ready for love! He has a heart of gold with that La Grange Love that loves nothing more than showering his favorite humans with affection and snuggles. ZZ is a Texas-Sized Yards sheepdog that has a strong instinct to roam and protect. A spacious yard with plenty of room to run around would be ideal (with supervision of course).
ZZ has not yet interacted with any felines or other canines in the shelter, however he had the perfect Blues Brother Bonding with the finders multiple adult dogs and got along great with them. We do recommend a meet and greet with any pets in the home prior to adopting. Keep in mind ZZ will need regular grooming care to keep looking classic so he keeps on rockin'.
But in all seriousness, ZZ was a stray originally that was dumped and roamed around for awhile. He eventually got seriously injured and a kind civilian took him in and got him the care he desperately needed before bringing him here at the shelter. He sat in hopes his owners would come forward but they never did.
Now, he is patiently waiting on the bus for new loving rockstar roommates to call his own! ZZ Top is ready to bring his unique blend of rockstar charm and gental giant sweetness to your life.
