Meet Girlie! Girlie is a two year old female Domestic Short Hair. She is oh-so-sweet, and real pretty to boot! Her hair is sleek and shiny; and just look at those vibrant eyes. Not only are her looks striking, but she has a personality to match. You'd be hard pressed to find a more loving feline than our sweet Girlie.
Girlie was surrendered after she appeared suddenly at her old owner's home. They took care of her for a few weeks, but eventually decided that she was too sweet to be a farm cat, and deserved a home that could give her more attention. She was around multiple other cats at her last home, and her owner never noticed Girlie having a problem with them. We have not seen how she would be around dogs or kids, however. We don't think she'd have a problem with children as long as they are respectful of her space, as here she's been super loving to everyone she meets. She may not appreciate rambunctious dogs that are going to get in her face, at least until she can adjust to her new home. We always recommend a meet and greet with any pets or kids in the home prior to adoption.
We're still getting to know Girlie, and time will tell us whether she is a playful, life of the party type of gal or just a mellow, beautiful couch potato. But we do know she loves attention and she is a total sweetheart! She is also litter box trained and has had her first round of vaccinations. Now she just needs to find a loving, forever home.
