I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Bella

I'm Available

Meet Bella!  Bella is a female 7 month old Border Collie mix.  This adorable girl is affectionate and oh-so-friendly! A dog this young shouldn't sit in a kennel for too long, so we're hoping she can be out of the shelter soon!

Bella is very playful and has tons of energy.  Anyone considering adding her to their family will need to take this into consideration first and whether they have the time and devotion required to fully meet her exercise requirements, both mentally and physically.  This is a working breed, and we suggest doing research on Border Collies before committing. They aren't the kind of dog that will be happy to lounge around all day, and they need exercise to stay both happy and healthy.

Bella came from a rough situation, and she has not had much in the way of attention or training. Border Collies are known for being intelligent, though, and Bella is still plenty young enough to learn. Bella has been around other dogs and has done reasonably well with them. We introduced her to another dog at the shelter, and they did great together. We do know, though, that she is not good with cats. Her previous owner let us know that she absolutely does not like felines, and we will not adopt Bella out to any homes with cats.

Bella deserves so much better than she's been given so far in her short life.  She is up to date on all of her vaccinations and is ready to dive into her next chapter!  Could that be with you?  If you think you may be a good match for this sweetheart, please give us a call or stop by the shelter!
