Meet Ruby, the cat with a shot of sass and a whole lot of love to give!
Ruby is a one year old gorgeous tortoiseshell Domestic Shorthair cat. When she first arrived at the shelter Ruby was a little shy, and needed some time to warm up. She still prefers to observe first before someone messes with her, but she is quickly becoming a sweet and charming little lady.
Ruby was brought to us alongside another cat, Jack (named after the infamous Jack Ruby). Jack has since been adopted, and Ruby is patiently waiting for her turn! Ruby's owner had taken her in temporarily, intending to find a forever home for her. They weren't able to find one quick enough, so they brought Ruby to us for her second chance.
Ruby may be calm and timid at first, but once she warms up to you, she'll be your new shadow. Ruby is a BIG snuggler, and would love an owner with plenty of time to love on her. She's a smart cookie too, having already mastered using the litter box. This lady gets along with other cats and dogs who respect her boundaries, and plays with her gently, but we recommend a meet and greet with kids due to her not having the opportunity to interact with kids yet.
