Meet Cheyenne!
This gorgeous little lady is a 2 year old Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix. She’s active and loving, and is ready to a place to call her forever home!
Cheyenne has a sad background, and is hoping she can change her story soon. Cheyenne was brought to us alongside another dog, Ace (who has his own listing here on our website!) after their previous owner passed away and no family members could take the pair in. Coming to the shelter is often overwhelming for newcomer dogs, but Cheyenne has been so sweet through the whole experience. We can tell she’s ready to find her special person to love on again!
We never got the opportunity to speak with Cheyenne’s previous family, but a close family friend did tell us a little bit about her history. Cheyenne has been house trained but will probably need a refresher on training as it has been quite awhile since she has had a set potty schedule. She does wonderful with children even babies. She has also lived with cats and small animals previously and did well. Cheyenne's bestie is Ace and they can usually be found side by side out in the yard. We recommend a meet and greet with any pets or children in the home prior to adoption to make sure it’s the right fit.
Cheyenne is still pretty young, and is a mix of two active breeds, so she’s going to need plenty of exercise to stay happy and healthy! If you’re looking for an exercise buddy, Cheyenne could be your perfect match!
Cheyenne has received her first round of vaccinations and is ready to go to her forever home! If you think you can turn this girl’s story around and give her the happy ending she deserves, stop by to meet her today!
P.S. Cheyenne and her buddy, Ace, do not have to be adopted out together, but if you are interested in a pair, there is a discount when getting two pets at once!
