Meet this sweet mama cat, Venus!
Venus came to us as a very pregnant stray, and it wasn't long before she gave birth to her beautiful babies! Now that her babies are old enough to be on their own and Venus has been spayed she is looking for a family to call her own.
Now, Venus is very aptly named. Named after the roman goddess of love and beauty, Venus is a real queen personified! Venus is an incredibly loving cat (and, we don't even have to say it - stunningly gorgeous, of course!). At every opportunity, she is right at our sides, demanding more attention. She's never minded us messing with her kittens, either, and is content as long as she gets some affection too! When Venus comes home, expect her to be a constant shadow, ready to love on you at any moment!
Now, while Venus has been very affectionate to all of the people she's met here, we aren't too sure how she would react towards other animals. She was briefly kenneled next to another cat that she absolutely did not like, and would try to pick fights every chance she got. This could be due to her being a nursing mom and acting on instinct to protect her babies, but we can't know for sure. Now that's she's been separated from her kittens and is residing in our cat room, she still does not do well with the other adult cats. Due to this, it is in everyone's best interest to bring your pets to meet Venus before adopting to make sure it is the right fit!
