Meet Isabella, or as she is affectionately called, Izzy!
Isabella is a 1 year old female Domestic Shorthair cat. She's super affectionate, and is just waiting for the right owner to grace her loving presence with!
Isabella was surrendered to us alongside another cat, Nyx. Their owner did not give them up due to any of their faults. Unfortunately, they had too many pets for their current property and could no longer afford to take care of them all. Izzy was much loved and it was a tough decision, but now she's looking for a forever home!
Isabella's previous owners found her as a tiny kitten and took her in. She's lived indoors ever since and has never had the option to explore outside, so she might not do well with a family that wants her to be outdoors. In her previous home, Isabella was around multiple other cats and dogs. She got along well with them, but there was one cat in the home that tended to bully her. Isabella can be pretty submissive when it comes to other animals, and would let the other cats boss her around when they wanted to. Due to this, Isabella might not be a good fit for a home with dominant animals that are going to bully her. She's just too sweet, and doesn't know how to defend herself!
Isabella is really friendly, even with strangers, and makes you instantly fall in loves. Most cats are pretty nervous when entering the shelter, but this girl was immediately looking for attention. She does like to climb on people for snuggles, and is always happiest when she's receiving some love.
