Meet our newest litter of puppies! This group of cuties are 10 week old mixed breeds. Their mom had Akita and Husky in her, but their owners weren't sure what else. This litter is the result of an accidental pregnancy that the owners couldn't keep, so they brought them to us to find forever homes!
Only two of the boys are left in this litter. They've been around each other their whole lives, and have always gotten along. They've also been around children and did great with them. Being as young as they are, they are at the perfect age to start socializing and ensure they'll be comfortable in a variety of situations. They haven't been trained at all, so their owners will need to dedicate some time to ensure the puppies grow up to be healthy and well-adjusted adults. We always recommend a meet and greet with any pets or people in the home (including children) so you can be sure this puppy would be the right one for you.
The shelter is a stressful place, and these young pups were a little nervous when they first arrived. After a day or two, though, they become playful and loving pups! Going to a new home and being separated from their siblings will be a big chance, so you'll need a touch of patience to let them get used to you.
These three have received their first round of vaccinations and are waiting impatiently to meet their forever families!
