Meet Hazel, the sweet and playful Brussels Griffon!
Hazel is a 3 year old female Brussels Griffon. She came to us through no fault of own when her owner's health issues made him unable to care for all of his dogs. With Hazel came another girl, Annie, who is also available for adoption!
Hazel is by far the more outgoing of the pair. She's very snuggly, and has already started to ask that the spotlight stays on her! Being only 3, Hazel is still very active, and would love a family that likes to take her along for the adventure! Hazel has spent her whole life around other small dog and gets along great with them, but has never been around any large dogs. She's also been around cats and chickens and gets along with then, but she loves to chase ducks. Hazel has never been around kids before, and we strongly recommend a meet and greet with any children in the home prior to adoption.
Hazel is going to need an owner that can work with her on obedience. She is not fully housebroken, and does not know any commands yet. With some patience and dedication, though, she shouldn't give you too much trouble!
Hazel has received her first round of vaccinations and is ready to find her forever home! This breed is fairly rare to find in a shelter, so don't miss your opportunity to meet this sweet girl!
