**Loch Ness just received his first round of vaccinations and will be available for adoption Friday 10/3 at 1 PM. We do not hold animals, and all adoptions are first come-first serve.**
If you missed out on the first wave of our Cryptids last week, then you're in luck! We have one more puppy from the litter looking for a forever home!
Meet the infamous Loch Ness monster! Having made his way here from the lakes in Scotland, he's looking for a forever home to settle down in!
Full disclosure, this Loch Ness isn't really the European water monster. He's actually just an 8 week old German Shepherd/Husky mix. Loch Ness was brought to us due to being part of an accidental litter. Their owner didn't want a whole herd of puppies on their hands, so they brought them to us so they can meet their new families!
Loch Ness may have been named after a terrifying creature, but he's actually a very sweet boy. He is still very young, and he acts exactly like you would expect a puppy of that age to do! He can make friends with just about anyone, and he is always on the go. Of course, being so young, he is not trained at all. He is not housebroken, and doesn't know any commands. He's at a great age to start teaching, though, and with some dedication will shape up to a great dog! Loch Ness is a mix of breeds that are known for being intelligent, but also known for being stubborn. He will need a family that has the free time to work with him and ensure he's getting the proper attention he needs.
The first thing we noticed about Loch Ness was his size! Even though he's only 8 weeks old, he's already close to 20 pounds. We expect this boy to be extra large when he is full grown, so please keep that in mind when considering bringing him home. He's not going to be a good fit for an apartment or small space, and needs plenty of room to play!
Loch Ness has received his first round of vaccinations and will soon be looking for his very own forever bridge. If you think this boy could be the dog for you, stop by and meet him today!
