The name Lennon is of Irish origin and means "dear one," "lover," or "sweetheart" - and that explains our boy perfectly! Lennon is a 6 year old Pit/Lab mix that instantly captured our hearts. Lennon showed up as a stray and was never claimed by an owner. We immediately noticed that he was underweight and that his paws were extremely cracked, which leads us to believe he was roaming for some time. Despite going through such a sad ordeal, Lennon has been one of the biggest sweethearts here. He falls in love with everyone he meets, and is always happiest when he can be right by your side.
Due to Lennon being a stray, we really don't know much about his background. He hasn't seemed to mind the other dogs when he passes by them, but we have no introduced him to any. We also have not seen how he reacts to kids or cats. We recommend a meet and greet with any potential siblings in the home so you can be sure Lennon is the right fit for you.
Peace, Love, and Belly Rubs is what Lennon is all about! He spreads love and positivity wherever he goes. Lennon is a charming gentleman that has who's been extremely sweet with staff and has a gentle approach to all. We don't know his level of training, but it does seem like he is at least partially housebroken. He is usually good at keeping his kennel clean, but he is known to pee in excitement when meeting a new person.
