Meet Lucky! Lucky is a four year old Labrador Retriever mix. He's incredibly sweet and has been so patient with us at the shelter. He is now hoping to get "lucky" and find a forever home very soon!
This sweet boy came to us through no fault of his own when his owner could not keep him due to time and space constraints. Lucky is an easy going and happy pooch. He loves kids of all ages and does great with all of the dogs he has met. He absolutely does not do well with cats, though, and we will not adopt him out to any homes with felines. We always recommend a meet and greet with any pets or kids in the home prior to adoption so you can be sure Lucky is the dog for you.
Lucky has tons of energy and loves to play, play, play! Fetch is his favorite game, and he is obsessed with the lake. His favorite thing in the world is stuffed animals, but they don't stay intact long around this boy! Lucky has also had some training. He knows sit and down, with both voice and hand signals. He is crate trained and potty trained as well, though potential adopters should keep in mind that occasional accidents often happen even with a fully trained dog as they adjust top their new home. Lucky is a smart boy and a very good dog. He likes to be active despite being a little out of shape. If you are looking for an exercise buddy or someone to go on adventures with, then Lucky is your guy!
