Meet Boss, the tough-as-nails Boston terrier who's runnin' the show around here! This little mob boss is mighty, with a heart of gold and a penchant for playin' rough. He's got a reputation for bein' one of the toughest guys in the puppy room, but don't worry, he's all bark and bite...well, maybe a little bite when it comes to treats!
Boss loves chew bones, snacks, and treats - the more, the merrier! He's a bit of a foodie, and he'll devour everything in sight. Just be careful not to get your fingers in the way, 'cause this guy gets excited! He's had some issues with eating too fast in the past, so a slow feeder might be a good idea.
This big red Boss of ours might be small, but he can jump high! And will jump right into your heart! He's got a buddy named Mushroom who's also available for adoption, and together they're unstoppable. They love to roughhouse, sniff out new smells, and play in the yard.
Unfortunately, Boss has had a rough past, and it's left some emotional scars. But with patience, training, and a good routine, he'll be housebroken in no time. He's still workin' on it, but he's a smart cookie and'll pick it up fast. Due to his past, he may have developed aggression towards food with other pets. He has not shown any signs here at the shelter but keep this in mind as some pets in his situation would have this behavior
We're lookin' for an active family who can keep up with this little mob boss. If you've got another dog or kids who love to play, that's a bonus! But even a quiet family who'll take him on a few walks a week would be perfect. Just expect him to take over your heart!
Before you adopt, let's talk about meet and greets. Although he gets along with Mushroom we recommend a meet and greet prior to adoption with any cats in the household we recommend as well because he has yet interacted with felines. We want to make sure Boss is the right fit for your family.
