Meet Rocket!
Rocket is an adventurous 9 month old Husky/ Labrador Retriever mix! This energetic pup is ready to blast off into his forever home and bring joy to his new family. Since Rocket came to us as a stray, we're still getting to know him. What we do know is that he's playful, curious, and energetic. Rocket loves nothing more than running around our yard, and especially loves having a canine buddy by his side to join in the fun!
Before Rocket can join your family, we'd love to do a meet and greet with any children, dogs, or cats in the home prior to adoption due to his unknown past. We want to verify he is the best fit for your home! We have found him a friend here at the shelter, and he’s met a few kids in the yard, but we don’t know how he’d live with them full time. We do know that Rocket may not do best with children under 6. He is at a point in his life where he is going through a lot of hormonal changes and a new home is already overwhelming enough. So, young children who may want to get too close may scare him.
Rocket has quickly become a very popular dog at the shelter, so we’re hoping he won’t be here too long! Rocket has received his first round of vaccinations and is ready to jet off to his new adventure. If you are ready for the trip of a lifetime, come on in and meet Rocket today!
