Meet Annie! Annie is a 2 year old Pitbull Terrier. She is a female and is not spayed!
Annie originally found herself in the care of the Vet in Hays where she was adopted out to a new home. Somehow, Annie found herself out and about and on an elderly couples front door step. They brought her to us and attempts to contact the adopters were unsuccessful. She is now available to be adopted from HSHP!
You will notice Annie has very clouded eyes. She is partially blind, but we believe she can still see! We can give you more information on this if you would like to know!
Annie does seem to favor women more than she does men. It would be in her best interest if she went to a home where she will be primarily a woman's dog. However, we believe she could fall in love with a very gentle and loving man. With the people that Annie loves, she is extremely loving and affectionate. She loves to cuddle and give the cutest smooches possible. She can be quite playful when she wants to be and appears to enjoy water! When Annie is not playing outside, you can find her curled up in the tightest ball on her blanket sleeping so peacefully. You can tell she hates sleeping alone and wants someone to hold her so bad.
We do not know how Annie does with other dogs or cats. We would strongly recommend doing a meet and greet with any other animals in the home. We believe Annie would do best in a home with older children as she may be too rough with younger children.
Annie may not be house broken completely. I think if she is on a very strict routine, she will be fine. However, if she is left for too long, she will have accidents! Annie does not appear to have much training at all and will need help in that area as well!
Annie has been started on her vaccines and is now ready to go find that perfect home that will love her for all that she is worth!
