**CJ and her brother, Bear, are considered a bonded pair and have to be adopted together. However, there is a discount when adopting two animals at once! Contact us with any questions about these siblings!**
Meet our sweet and snuggly girl, CJ!
CJ is a four year old spayed Labrador Retriever/Border Collie mix. This loving little girl is playful, funny, and always eager to make new friends. CJ and her brother, Bear, were found wandering as strays and unfortunately never claimed. However, we were able to get in contact with a previous owner of theirs that could tell us some info about these two pups!
CJ has spent her life around other dogs, cats, and kids, and does well with them. CJ is a very active girl, and would love a home with plenty of activity to keep her happy. We do know, however, that CJ is NOT good with chickens, and will not be adopted out to a home with fowl on the property. CJ can be a bit sensitive, and has some separation anxiety. She would do best in a home with an owner that can dedicate their free time to hanging out with him. CJ doesn't do well being kenneled, and will try her darndest to break out of any crate you put her in. She is housebroken, however, and doesn't have a history of being destructive. In her first home, she was allowed to roam the house alone and did great. Please keep in mind, though, that bringing home any new dog is an adjustment, and you should be prepared to be patient as CJ gets used to your family. This special girl is truly worth the effort!
Immediately upon meeting CJ and Bear we could tell they were very attached to each other. They've lived together their whole lives, and have never been apart. CJ is the more shy of the pair, and likes Bear to check new people out first. Once he deems them cool, CJ is quick to follow and become your best friend! We don't think they would be okay being separated since they are so attached, so we are requiring they go to a home together. This can be a big commitment to take home two animals at the same time, but we know the perfect home is out there that can be the right fit for this pair!
BCJ is already spayed and has been given her first round of vaccinations. She is officially up for adoption and ready to make your acquaintance! If you are interested in CJ and Bear, stop by the shelter to see if they are the dogs of your dreams!
