Meet Charlie! Charlie is a 7 year old Heeler x Pointer mix. He is a neutered male!
Charlie came into HSHP as a stray from Lucas, KS. We were never able to find an owner, so Charlie is now looking for new place to call home!
This old boy is so so mellow and very sweet! He does not do much other than snooze the day away on his big comfy bed. He does enjoy getting to go outside and soak in the vitamin d. He can be a bit stubborn at times when it is time to go back inside. We are still learning about Charlie and his likes and dislikes.
We do not know if he has ever been around other dogs or cats before. He doesn't seemed to bothered by one of our more loud male dogs, but whose to say what he would do if he met him in the yard. We would strongly recommend doing a meet and greet with any other animals in the home before adopting. We also would like to see how he behaves around children of any age before going to a home with any.
Charlie does appear to be house broken and keeps his kennel very clean and tidy. He does know sit, but we have not tested for any other commands as of yet.
He has been started on his vaccines and is now ready to go find his new forever home with the comfiest couch!
