Meet Tydas, the new boy in town!
Tydas is a 6 and a half year neutered Miniature Aussie. He's very charming, and instantly falls in love with everyone he meets!
Tydas was surrendered through no fault of his own, when his previous owner's found that they didn't have enough time to take care of him. He is an incredibly sweet boy that is ready to find his forever home!
Tydas has lived with cats before, and he absolutely loves them, even if they tend to not love him back! He just wants to play with them so bad, and some cats don't appreciate that energy. Tydas has been around some dogs before, and tends to do well with smaller dogs, but we aren't sure how he would do living with a bigger door. We definitely recommend a meet and greet with any canine friends since Tydas can be a bit picky. One thing we do know, though, is that Tydas isn't the biggest fan of small children. He's never been outright aggressive with him, but they do make him prety nervous. Any kids too young to know how to respect Tydas' space and not grab at him or climb on him will not be a good fit for this boy.
Tydas is an incredibly smart boy, and his previous owners put a lot of time into training him! He's housebroken, and knows plenty of commends, such as sit, stay, down, and come. He also has good recall, but of course, as he gets to know you you'll have to make sure he trusts you before you are testing him on it. This breed is known for being pretty active, and while Tydas is getting older, he would still love a family that can include him on their adventures! Tydas has traveled around the country and is always happy to be along for the ride!
Once last thing to note about Tydas is that he has quite the sensitive tummy. While we all love to treat our canine friends, Tydas' future owner will have to be careful of what snacks they're giving him. Human food really upsets his stomach and he often gets sick after eating it, so just be mindful of what you're feeding him!
Tydas has received his first round of vaccinations, and is microchipped, which can be transferred to his new owner's name after adoption. Tydas really is such a sweet boy, and we know he'll be an amazing companion for the right family! We hope he won't have to wait too long for that match to come along, so don't wait - stop by to met Tydas today!
