This is Piper! Piper is a male, three month old Domestic Short Hair. This cutie patootie came to us as a stray, and he has quite the story. He was found trapped in a 20 foot, three inches round, pipe. It took rescuers two hours to finally extract this poor boy and get him to safety. Even though Piper is traditionally a female name, it was requested by someone involved in the rescue attempts that we name him Pipe(r) due to his fascinating backstory. We are so glad to have this sweet boy safe and sound with us and in decent health. Piper is definitely on the skittish side and will need an owner who is patient and willing to take things slow while he adjusts. Once he feels comfortable, this guy is super affectionate and absolutely loves to be petted. We imagine he is fairly playful too, though he doesn't trust this loud, scary place enough yet to show us that side of himself. Despite his shy nature, we expect this fella to get adopted fairly quickly. Just look at those cheeks! Who wouldn't want this handsome kitten? He has had his first round of vaccinations and is litter box trained, which means he is officially up for adoption and ready to get the heck outta here.
