Meet Alfredo! He is a 2 year old male Domestic Medium Hair cat. Alfredo is a quiet cat who tends to sit back and assess the situation before jumping into new things. Don't worry, though, as Alfredo is a very sweet and affectionate cat once he gets to know you! He just needs someone who will give him the time he needs to adjust to a new environment and come out of his shell.
Alfredo came to us as a stray, so unfortunately we do not know much about his past. His finder said she found him when her dog had him cornered in her yard. It is safe to say that Alfredo is not a fan of dogs at the moment! We recommend a meet 'n greet with any animals in the home prior to adoption to make sure it is a good fit. Also, due to his tentative nature, we recommend he go to a home with older children as younger kids can be a bit too activity for him at the moment.
You can't see it from the pictures due to his recent groom, but Alfredo naturally has a longer and beautiful coat! When he arrived at the shelter he was dealing with some mats, so we gave him a lion cut to help alleviate that. As his hair grows out again, his owner will want to help brush him out and ensure it's staying in good condition.
