Meet Autumn! Autumn is a six year old spayed female Domestic Short Hair cat. She is an absolute sweetheart, and we're hoping she can be out of the shelter soon!
Autumn came to us through no fault of her own when he owner could not care for her due to time constraints. She was surrendered to us alongside her fur-sibling, Summer, who has her own listing here on our website. Autumn is a loving and affectionate girl, but she can be independent when you need her to be and keep herself entertained. She can be a bit shy upon initially meeting strangers, but she does warm up fairly quickly and is eager to make new friends once you prove yourself trustworthy. Even in a short time, she's already warmed up to us here, and has shown us that she's a very loving girl. When she meets you, Autumn is very curious, and is eager to make your acquaintance!
Autumn has lived with another cat and dog and did well with both. She may be a bit overwhelmed when first meeting new animals, and we definitely push for adopters to be patient through the adjustment process. She also does well with children, but she does require that they be respectful of her boundaries. Moving to a new home is stressful for any animal, so please be prepared to have some patience as Autumn adjusts to her new normal. We always recommend a meet and greet with any potential family members, so you can be sure Autumn is the cat for you!
