Baby Baby Baby Oh, Like Baby Baby Baby No, Like Baby Baby Baby Oh! I thought you'd always be mine, mine!
Meet Baby!
Our big boy is a 4 and a half year old neutered male. He is declawed - due to this, we will only be adopting him to a home that will keep him strictly indoors for his own safety. While he's still getting used to us here, Baby is waiting for a safe home where he can let his true personality shine!
Baby was surrendered to us through no fault of his own. His previous owner was no longer able to care for him, and family members had their own pets and couldn't take Baby in. He made his way to the shelter and is now looking for his fresh start.
Baby has lived with other cats before and did okay with them. We would recommend introducing him slowly to any adult animals in the home to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone. Baby has not been around dogs before, though, and he can be shy in new situations, so any energetic dogs that are going to get in his face might not be a good fit. We do know, though, that Baby ADORES children and loves to snuggle with them. Of course, he will need an adjustment period when he goes to his new home, but once he is comfortable, this guy is a big ol' lovebug. We always recommend a meet and greet with any pets or kids in the home prior to adoption so you can be sure it's a good fit.
Coming to the shelter is stressful for any new cat, and Baby is still getting used to us here. This place is full of loud noises and strange smells, with strangers constantly coming through. Baby is still getting used to us, and doesn't want to be grabbed at right away. We ask that you be patient with this sensitive boy, and give him the chance to get to know you. Once you show that you are a safe space, Baby will be your new best friend! He's already opened up to us and showed us his incredibly loving side. He just wants to be pet all day, and will gladly rub up on you for more attention. All he needs is for someone to take him home and give him the opportunity to do that forever!
Baby is already neutered and declawed, has been litterbox trained, and has been given his first round of vaccinations. He's now ready to go to his forever home where he can thrive once more! If you think Baby could be your next, well, baby, then stop by and meet him today!
