Meet Big Mike, a member of our M&M litter. Like the candy, this bunch of kittens are so sweet, and are a total crowd favorite!
Bik Mike actually isn't related to the other three of this litter, and is more of an adopted brother. By the time Mike arrived at the shelter, the other three kittens were already being fostered by one of our employees as they were too young to survive on their own. Big Mike also needed a surrogate mom, and as he was about the same age as the other kittens, we just added him to the bunch! We didn't mean to be ironic in naming him Big Mike, but after he got his name the other kittens kept growing until Mike was the runt of the litter. He doesn't let it slow him down, though, and easily keeps up with his found family!
Since Big Mike been around people since he was tiny, he's very used to being handled. He gets along with just about anybody, and is just happy to be loved on! This group does have a bad habit of climbing up people's legs to get attention, but it's just because they're so excited to see you. One thing they love more than anything else, though, is treats - a scoop of wet food is a surefire way to capture their hearts!
Big Mike gets along great with other kittens, but we have yet to see him around kids and dogs. He's still young, though, and has not given us any cause for concern. We believe that with proper introductions, he could adjust to any new situation.
Big Mike has received his first round of vaccinations and will soon be ready for his forever home! If you are thinking of adopting this little fella, keep an eye on his listing for updates!
