It's not often you see a cat this gorgeous enter the shelter. Meet one of our new additions, Camila!
Camila is a 5 year old spayed Snowshoe mix. With her previous owner's family growing, they just didn't have time for her anymore, and wanted to give her the chance to find a family with plenty of attention to devote to her!
Camila is a very sweet cat, but she is feeling a bit shy as she gets used to us. It's completely normal for this to occur, as she got used to living in a home and now as an adult finds herself in this loud and stressful place. She doesn't currently feel like exploring much, and wants to chill in her kennel while she adjusts. She's never been mean to us, though, and will gladly accept love if you come to her! Every day we see more and more of her personality come out, and she has charmed all of us!
Camila has never lived with other animals, so we aren't sure how she would react to any fur-siblings. We do think she would be okay with other pets as long as they can respect her space. Camila has been around older kids and did fine with them. With her being nervous in new situations, any small children should be supervised around her to make sure they aren't pushing her boundaries. We always recommend bringing the whole family to meet a new pet before bringing them home to make sure it is a good fit.
Camila is ready to get out of the shelter and back into a home where she can thrive! She has received her first round of vaccinations and is officially ready to meet her forever family. So don't wait - stop out and met Camila today!
