Meet Edith! She is a 10 year old spayed female Domestic Short Hair cat.
Edith came in to the shelter as a stray that was picked up by Animal Control. She was sadly never claimed by an owner and is now ready to find a nice and cozy home to reside i!. Edith appears to either have been someone's pet or a very well-cared for alley cat, seeing as she is spayed and appears to have had some dental work in the past. She has some stinky breath at the moment, so we would imagine she may be due for another dental in the near future. Adopters should take this into consideration when adopting a senior cat!
Edith has been very sweet towards the staff at the shelter and has not shown any shy or nervous behavior. We do not know how Edith will get along with other animals in the home and would recommend a meet and greet with any other animals in the home prior to adoption. Given that Edith is on the older side, she may prefer other calm animals that will not invade her personal space much. We do believe Edith will get along fine with children in the home as long as they do not push her personal boundaries.
