Meet Jeffery!
Jeffery is an 8 week old Domestic Short Hair kitten.
Jeffery and his siblings came to us after they were found with out their mother. They were only 3 1/2 weeks old and still needed to be given milk. They were taken in by a staff member and cared for up until they were ready to be adopted. Here is her own bio for Jeffery:
I got to know Jeff and his brother very well serving as their foster mother. These 3 boys were so much fun to take care of and honestly, they made the time fly and I hardly noticed any struggle getting up to feed them.
Jeffery is what I like to call the "special" brother. Now this could also be partially my fault as during one of their feedings, I let go of him for 2 seconds and he nose dived off the counter. He is fine! But he may be just a bit more special! (just kidding)
While all three boys are "momma boys", Jeffery is the biggest mommas boy. Even though they are all technically the same age, Jeffery, is with out a doubt the youngest brother. He knows he can get whatever he wants just by looking at me.
Jeffery loves to cuddle and will scream if he is not getting mom's main attention. He also has acquired an expensive taste when it came to our Kitten Formulas. The three main formulas we use at the shelter are all made by the same company (PetAg), but they come in 3 different price ranges. When I first got the boys, we had the more expensive of the three. Eventually we ran out and we had to go buy more. Given that we are a shelter and money is tight, we bought the cheaper option. Ohhhhhh boy! Jeffery did not like this and refused to eat until I went and got him the more expensive formula. Then he was a happy boy and began to eat again as if nothing has ever happened.
These days, Jeff is a feisty little boy who loves to pick on his brothers. He enjoys stalking them and then pouncing when they least expect it. Jeff may be the smallest of the three, but he is defiantly the biggest bully.
