**Johnny B. Goode and his siblings will become available for adoption Saturday 8/9/25 at 1 PM. We do not hold animals, and all adoptions will be first come first serve. If more than one person is here at the same time wanting the same animal, a random drawing will be held between approved applicants.**
Yet another litter of kittens is looking for their forever homes! Meeting this new bunch - the 50s Rockin' kittens!
This handsome boy is Johnny B. Goode! He is the only male out of the litter. This little lad is sweet and sassy, as well as gorgeous, of course! Johnny and his siblings were born at the shelter to a semi-feral mom. As their mom learns to trust us, these kittens are also starting to branch out and really feel comfortable. We've learned that wet food goes a long way in earning Johnny's trust, and as long as you provide enough treats, you should have no problem in making him your best friend!
Johnny has not been around children or any animals other than his mom and siblings. He's young enough that she should be able to adjust to new circumstances, but it will take time to get him fully comfortable. Small kids should especially be supervised around him to make sure they aren't pushing his boundaries too much as he gets used to his new home. We would love to see him integrated into a home and family where she receives a lot of attention and can become as social and trusting as possible.
