I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Jordan

I'm Available

Meet our new boy - Jordan!

Jordan is a five month old Domestic Shorthair kitten. While he's feeling a little shy at finding himself in this big place, he's quickly warming up and showing us his lovable personality!

Jordan was seen falling out of a car engine in the Walmart parking lot, and thankfully some kind souls were nearby to rescue him. They couldn't keep him long term, however, but held on to him just long enough until he could come to the shelter. Unfortunately, no owner came looking for him, so he is now searching for a new forever home.

When Jordan first arrived at the shelter, he was a little overwhelmed. He never lashed out at us, but he spent his first couple of days hiding before feeling brave enough to explore. He likes to be held now, but he still asks that you give him the time to get to know you. Once he feels comfortable around you, he quickly becomes your best friend!

Since Jordan was a stray, we don't know what environment he lived in before. He has met another female cat here at the shelter and got along well with her. We have not seen how he is around dogs or kids, however. With him being on the timid side, energetic dogs that won't respect his space may scare this little boy. We always recommend a meet and greet with any pets or kids in the home prior to adoption, and please keep in mind that it will take Jordan time to adjust in his new home. Given the proper patience, he quickly develops into your typical playful kitten!

Jordan has received his first round of vaccinations, and has already mastered using his litterbox! He is now ready to get out of the shelter and find the loving home that he deserves. If you think your family could be the right fit for Jordan, stop by and meet him today!
