Meet Keanu, our new rough-and-tumble kitten!
Keanu is a 3 month old male Domestic Shorthair kitten. He initially came to us as a stray, and we're searching for a forever home where he can be cherished like he deserves!
Keanu is still taking some time to get 100% comfortable at the shelter, and just needs a little extra patience. He's never been mean to us, but he does tend to hide and gets spooked if we just grab at him. All he asks is that you take a few extra moments to let him check you out, and he will soon be your best friend! Once Keanu knows he can trust you, he is such a sweet little guy.
Since Keanu was a stray, we don't know much about his past. He doesn't seem to mind other cats when they pass his kennel, but we haven't yet introduced him to any. We also haven't seen him around dogs or kids. With him being young and gentle, he should be able to adjust to new situations in time. Please keep in mind, though, that with him being on the shy side any animals or kids that get in his space will make him uncomfortable at first. Any new siblings should be supervised until Keanu can fully adjust.
