Meet Lucy! This pretty little lady is a nearly 2 year old, spayed female, Domestic Medium Haired cat. She's found her way back to us, and is looking for a second chance at a forever home!
Lucy is no stranger to the shelter. She was actually adopted from us as a kitten, but unfortunately her owner's failing health led to them not being able to keep her anymore. We are heartbroken for Lucy and her owner that it didn't work out, but we're hoping it won't take long for her new family to find her!
Since leaving the shelter, Lucy hasn't been around other animals. Her owner was older and didn't get out much, so Lucy got pretty used to chilling at home with him. When family members came by, she got along well with them all, including their children. When she first meets a stranger she can be a little shy, but she quickly warms up. Due to her having not been around other animals since she was a kitten, though, we don't know how Lucy will act around other pets. We recommend a meet and greet with any animals in the home prior to adoption, so you can be sure Lucy is the right fit for your family.
Lucy is still young, so she has plenty of energy to keep you entertained. As previously mentioned, though, she is used to a calmer house, so she also has no problem just hanging out all day! No matter what you're looking for in a house cat, Lucy will probably fit the bill!
