Who is the most successful Formula 1 racing team in history? You guessed it, McLaren!
McLaren is a 1 year old Domestic Short Hair cat. He is a male and is not yet neutered. McLaren came to us alongside his brother, BoxBox (who has his own listing here on our website) through no fault of their own. Their owners unexpectedly had a life change and could not keep their pets. While it was not an easy decision for them to make, they brought the pair to us to try to find their forever homes.
This change was sudden not only for their owner, but for McLaren as well. McLaren had lived with his previous owners since he was a kitten, and it's going to take some time for him to adjust to his new normal. Right now, he still prefers to hide, and doesn't like to be right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the shelter. Despite his nervousness, though, he's never been aggressive with us, and is actually quite a sweet cat once you get to know him. He's already starting to come out of his shell, and is quickly showing us what a loverboy he is!
In his previous home McLaren was around multiple other cats and did well with them all. We have not seen how he does around dogs or kids, though. Due to this, we strongly recommend a meet and greet with any canines or children in the home prior to adopting McLaren.
