Meet Ronnie! He is a 3 year old, male, Domestic Short Hair. Ronnie was found as a stray along with his companion Glenn, who is also available for adoption. Ronnie is doing his best to be brave, but he is hoping his forever family comes to get him very soon!
Ronnie is a shy little fella'. He's been very nervous here at the shelter, and is taking some time to warm up. He's never been aggressive with us, but he is fearful and tends to hide in the bottom of his condo. Even through the nervousness, though, Ronnie has proven to be a very sweet kitty. Already he's starting to warm up and ask us for attention. Slow and steady is the key to win this guy's heart! He's started to come out of his condo and explore a bit more, and would love to be in a home where he can fully and truly open up.
Since Ronnie was a stray, we don't know much about his past. He was found with Glenn and they get along well, but we have not seen him around any other animals. He's met a couple of kids here at the shelter, and if they can go slow and respect his space he doesn't seem to mind them. Any rowdy kids that are going to get in his face, though, scare Ronnie and will not be a good fit. We recommend a meet and greet with any pets or kids in the home prior to adoption to ensure it's a match.
