I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Ruthy

I'm Available

Meet Ruthy, the sweet and sensitive girl.

Ruthy is a 2 year old spayed Domestic Shorthair cat. She's not had much luck in finding a forever home, so we're hoping to turn that around and help her meet a family who will cherish her!

Ruthy's first owner unfortunately had to give her away when they had to move to a care home, and could not bring Ruthy along. The home that took Ruthy in ended up not being a good fit either, as another cat in the home just couldn't get used to having her around. All of these changes have led to Ruthy being a little timid. She's never been aggressive with us, but she is a bit fearful, and tends to hide. Her previous owner let us know that it just takes her a while to come around, but once she trusts you, she is a master snuggler! She loves to curl up in her favorite human's lap and nap the day away.

Ruthy has been around some animals before and she seemed to like them; however, a cat in her previous home did not do well with having Ruthy around. Ruthy was often attacked while she was eating, or even when minding her own business. This has led to her being nervous around some other felines. Due to this, we strongly recommend a meet and greet with any other cats in the home prior to adoption to make sure it is the right fit for Ruthy. Ruthy has been around some smaller dogs and kids before, and always seemed to like them. Please keep in mind, though, that with Ruthy being a bit timid, she may need some extra time to adjust.

Ruthy is such a sweet girl, and she deserves a home where she can feel safe and thrive again! If you think that you could be that home for Ruthy, then don't make her wait any longer - stop by and meet her today!
