I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Socks

I'm Available

Meet Socks! Socks is an 8 week old female Domestic Short Hair kitten.

Socks was brought in with her littermates after she was an accidental litter born to a feral mom. Her folks did not want to grow a cat colony, so they brought the kittens into us. Due to being born to a feral mother, Socks is still learning how to adjust to humans. Her previous owners handled her often, and did a good job at making sure she feels partially comfortable around people. Even though she is a kitten, she will need adopters who can be patient and calm while she adjusts. Do not be too worried about this, though, as feral kittens will come around eventually and often turn into the most loving and cuddly kittens! Just be prepared to be patient, as Socks will need some extra time to warm up in her new home.

With Socks still being timid around people, she will need careful supervision when she is adopted. She can't be allowed to roam outside until she adjusts, as she will likely not come back. Even inside the home, be prepared for her to hide until she gets used to you. Socks has never been around dogs or small kids before. She may feel overwhelmed around animals or children that are going to get in her face before she has a chance to get used to them. Again, patience will be the key to winning this girl's heart!

Socks has been using her litter box well and has been started on her vaccines! She is ready to go to her forever home. Stop by to meet Socks today and see if she'd be a good fit for you!
