Meet our trusted watchman, Peter Gregory Gallop! Peter is a 6 year old male Domestic Medium Haired cat. He's extremely loving and loyal, and just wants a best friend to spend his life with!
We know that "Peter Gregory Gallop" can be a mouthful, but we thought such a special cat deserved a special name! Peter was named after a famous lighthouse-keeper, due to his favorite hobby being people watching. Peter loves to sit at the glass of his kennel door and patiently wait for someone to give him attention. Peter truly loves people, and is always happiest when he's allowed to stay glued to your side. When you let him out of the kennel, be prepared to give him lots of love - he deserves it, after all! He will gladly follow you around and rub up on your legs the whole time.
Peter was initially a stray, which means that we unfortunately don't know much about his background. He doesn't seem to mind other cats when he passes by them, but we haven't actually introduced him to any. We also haven't yet seen how he does around dogs or kids. While he's been perfectly loving with everyone at the shelter, we always recommend bringing the family to meet a new pet before adopting.
