Meet Katerina, a beautiful 3 year old spayed calico. Katerina initially came to us pregnant, but after giving her babies the opportunity to find their forever home, it is now Katerina's turn!
If you saw our Little Women litter that went up for adoption mid-April, then meet their mother! Katerina came in as a heavily pregnant stray, and she was obviously waiting for a safe space to have her babies. She was a very good mama, but the time came for the kittens to go off on their own adventures.
Katerina was around some cats previously and did fine with them, but we have noticed that since giving birth she isn't always the biggest fan of other felines. This could calm down in the future, but as of right now we recommend a meet and greet with any pets to ensure a harmonious household. As far as we know, Katerina has never been around any dogs either. She has met a few kids here at the shelter, though, and has always done well with them.
Katerina is the type of cat that want to love on people. She enjoys being pet and held, and is content to receive attention all day if you have the time! She's not too clingy, though, and will go off and do her own thing if you're too busy at the moment. She's the type of cat that will adapt to your schedule, and is just happy to be included!
