Introducing Mimosa, the purrfect blend of sweet and zesty! Mimosa came into the shelter as a stray that was found with another female cat (Calypso, who is also available for adoption!). We believe that they were dumped and left behind by their previous owners. Mimosa gets along with other cats; however, we are unsure about canines as she has yet interacted with one yet. We do recommend a meet and greet with any dogs in the home.
Since mimosas are sweet treats that come with a little bit of fizz and fun, we thought it was fitting for this big girl! Just like the refreshing drink, Mimosa brings a burst of joy to any home. This bubbly feline loves to lounge in sunny spots and enjoys a good cuddle. She doesn't seem to mind much when getting picked up, but she will sometimes jump out of your arms if you don't hold her the way SHE wants to be held. Other than that she is as laid back as every morning brunch with the girls!
When she first came to us she was not a happy camper. She was a little cranky but never retaliated with anger. She quickly warmed up to us with lots of meows and purrs instantly relieved knowing she was safe again.
