Harper

Harper

Meet Harper! This gorgeous gal is one of our newest additions to the shelter, and is hoping to get out of here ASAP!

Harper was surrendered to us due to her owners not having enough time to properly care for her. Her son, Lassy, was surrendered to us as well and has his own listing here on our website. Since she only just arrived, Harper is still feeling pretty nervous. She doesn't like when we just grab at her, and prefers we take it slow and give her time to feel comfortable. It might take a bit for her to get used to the shelter as it is a stressful place, so please keep that in mind when you come meet her. Her owners said, though, that once she is comfortable Harper is the life of the party! Typical of the breed, she is very energetic. Harper will need an owner that is willing to keep her active so she can stay at the top of her game.

Harper was a mostly outdoor dog at her old house, so she will need some work if her future owners want her to live indoors. She isn't potty trained, but she is young enough to still be taught. This breed is also known for being incredibly intelligent, so she shouldn't give you too much trouble. Harper has been around older kids and did well with them. Harper can be very dog selective, so we strongly recommend a meet and greet with any canines. Harper does not like cats, and will not be adopted out to a home with any.

Harper has received her first round of vaccinations and is ready to go to her forever home! If you think Harper could be the dog for you, stop by and meet her today!
